World Class Cars & World Class Wines - An Elegant Pairing!

For a second year the Kirkland Concours d'Elegance and Woodinville Wine Country are joining hands: The purpose of this union? To offer a taste of some of Washington State's finest wines AND an eyeful of classic, vintage automobiles. The highlight of the partnership is the Vin d'Elegance, to be held the day prior to the Concours, on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at approximately twenty of the very best Woodinville wineries.

Vintage Sports Cars

Last year eighteen wineries participated in the event and were graced by over 30 fine automobiles. The Classic Car Club was well represented and the Porsche and Jaguar clubs turned out in force.

This year we are expecting an even better turnout, with the focus being on high-end and special-interest vintage sports cars.

Tour d'Elegance

A highlight of the Saturday event is the culmination of the Kirkland Tour d'Elegance in downtown Woodinville. The Tour d'Elegance is a three-day road trip through the Olympic Peninsula, which involves approximately 20 rare, classic cars. At noon on Saturday, Sept. 10, the cars are scheduled to drive through downtown Woodinville on their way to the wineries.

Wine Garden

In addition to the Vin d'Elegance wine tastings, The Kirkland Concours and Woodinville Wine Country are presenting a Wine Garden at the Concours on Sunday. The Wine Garden will feature five tastings for five dollars with all proceeds going to Children's and Evergreen Hospitals.

The Kirkland Concours d'Elegance and Woodinville Wine Country have both been in existence for approximately nine years, and are both committed to world class quality. As a result of this partnership, our community is able to see and learn about unique, classic automobiles while tasting extraordinary wines – all the while helping to care for sick children at Seattle Children's and Evergreen Healthcare Hospitals.
